The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for the daily contact between the agency and one or more client accounts. The AE interfaces with the various departments of the agency to move projects through on behalf of the client. This includes meeting with the creative, digital and web development teams concerning client projects, opportunities, and issues and daily coordination with the project managers concerning pricing, scheduling and timing.
AEs have major input in helping develop strategic marketing plans for their clients. After the plan has been developed and presented to the client, the AE has the responsibility of carrying the plan out on a daily basis.
AEs are also responsible for identifying, qualifying and closing new business from existing clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Generate Revenue Growth
- Build business through inbound leads
- Grow business through existing book of customers
- Strategic Account Leadership
Activities:
- Communicate with current customers as a liaison
- Build proposals
- Build a sitemap to create the proposal
- Understand Drum’s pricing structure in Proposify
- Understand the budget of the customer and price accordingly
- Organize sales through agency CRM
- Lead StoryBrand discussions and create elevator pitches with clients
- Handing off projects to the Agency Team with clear direction
- Generate ideas for building/running agency business better
- Build Marketing Strategy for clients
