We are looking for a talented, motivated writer with the desire to learn to craft concepts and tell stories across all mediums include print, web, video and social. No professional experience required but you must demonstrate a passion for critical thinking, headline writing, and long-form copy that holds attention and tells a story.
In this role you'll have plenty of opportunity to see great work created, collaborate with experienced writers and designers and build your portfolio while gaining experience across a wide variety of great clients.
Your talents include:
- Effectively story telling with appropriate voice and tone
- Juggle multiple projects while still upholding high standards
- Be a great collaborator who can work well with creative directors, writers, designers, PMs, account managers and strategists
- Can adhere to multiple brand voices, often in the same day
- Be curious, self-motivated, hard-working, well-organized, thick skinned and resilient to ever-changing timelines, requests, and deliverables
- Embrace the redlines, accept critique and take direction from others
Requirements:
- An undergraduate degree and a demonstrated passion for writing. History, math, underwater basket weaving... all are acceptable if your writing samples are worthy.
- An online portfolio that shows you understand copywriting for advertising with:
- Examples crafting both short and long-form content
- Examples working on real or fake brands
- Natural curiosity and the desire to dig in and learn the nuances of each client's brand, products and services
Salary and Benefits:
- $40,000-$45,000 based on quality of work demonstrated in portfolio
