The role of the digital campaign manager is responsible for the execution of high-level campaigns and assess proficiency of campaign managers. The ideal candidate oversees the creation and maintenance of branding, advertising and lead-generation campaigns, monitors their effectiveness and progress using analytic tools, and provide data-driven feedback to clients. The digital advertising manager always looks for the latest trends, ensuring the agency maintains expertise in paid digital advertising and advise clients of new opportunities to reach their targeted audience and/or achieving goals.
The digital campaign manager designs and implements a vibrant, effective digital marketing campaign. Analyzing and understanding various databases and online analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, the manager will develop SEM techniques to enhance the company’s brand and increase web-search visibility. In addition, the manager will use social media sites (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.) to further raise brand awareness and foster customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advance knowledge of paid search, display and video campaigns with Google, Bing and other platforms
- Advanced knowledge of social media best practices
- Participate in client meetings and present ideas for digital marketing campaigns
- Keep a proactive and consistent pulse on all digital campaign’s performance
- Assist with and managing specific high-level accounts
- Have exemplary oral and written communication skills and an extreme attention to detail. The ability to take advanced digital advertising concepts and relay them to a non-technical audience, and to work collaboratively with other departments
- Have ability to problem solve Ad Serving Issues and Discrepancies
- Understand Digital Ad Ops Processes and find ways to optimize processes for department
- Create well documented monthly and quarterly campaign reports using internal software
- Manage and guide Campaign Managers in Digital Ad serving best practices
- Understand Ad Tags implementation and conversion tags implementation processes
- Responsible to meet key metrics set forth by the vice president of operations
- Drafts and maintains training manual and new campaign manager onboarding
- Assigns new accounts to digital campaign managers
- Responsible for all campaign managers keeping their digital certifications, and for the company maintaining Google Premier status
- Responsible for implementing department wide policies designed to minimize and ultimately prevent overspend in the digital department
- Continuously researching trends and best practices to maximize the efficiency and impact of the department
Work Requirements and Conditions:
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced multiple tasking environment with frequent disruptions
- The position requires some lifting and filing of documents
- Sensitive records will routinely be handled and/or observed in this position
- Occasional attendance after normal working hours will be required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business
- Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills
- 3+ years implementing social media, search, display and video campaigns with minimal supervision using Google, Meta and other platforms
- Maintain Google certifications
