Digital Marketing Specialist (Contract)

Location: Greenville, SC

Experience: 3+ years


The Digital Marketing Specialist (DMS) is responsible for developing, implementing, and

managing our digital marketing campaigns across various digital channels, including SEO, PPC,

social media, email marketing, and content marketing. The candidate should have a strong

understanding of digital marketing techniques and experience in implementing successful digital

campaigns. The ideal candidate has an in-depth knowledge of digital marketing tools such as

Google Analytics,Data Studio, SEMRush, HubSpot, among others.


This role may have oversight responsibilities for digital marketing partners of the agency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns across various channels such as email, social media, search engine optimization, PPC/paid advertising, and others; may manage these directly or oversee partners
  • Oversee all paid advertising campaigns to maximize return on investment
  • Create and manage content for our website, social media, email, and other digital channels
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns and provide reports and insights to the team
  • Conduct research and analysis on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth
  • Work with team to develop marketing strategies that align with our company goals
  • Develop optimization strategies that increase search engine results rankings for FUEL and its clients
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for content optimization and expansion
  • Develop and implement effective on-page optimization strategies, including meta tags, header tags, and internal linking
  • Create and implement effective link-building strategies to improve domain authority and backlink profile
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console and provide key recommendations for improved performance
  • Develop and execute email marketing and nurture campaigns to grow our prospect lists and increase engagement
  • Oversee, manage, and maintain the agency’s technology stack


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Proven experience as a digital marketing specialist or similar role
  • Experience with digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, SEMRush, and HubSpot
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
