The Director of Account Service (DAS) ensures the agency’s client accounts are profitably maintained and
proactively grown while effectively supervising the Brand Service Department and managing its work product. This individual works to motivate, inspire and guide a talented team in the on-time and on-budget execution of brand programs in support of the strategic positioning platform while delighting clients through extraordinary service and expert consultation. The DAS bears final responsibility for each assigned account’s growth and profitability. As a key leadership position in the agency, the DAS must have experience in master-planned communities and mixed-use real estate, business strategy, research, creative and production across print, environmental and online applications, budget management and communications planning. A solid background in senior-level agency account service positions and a demonstrated skill in effectively managing people and projects is required. Advanced verbal and written communications skills, presentation skills, analytical thinking, personal organization and interpersonal skills are a must. The DAS must be a capable personnel manager, with teambuilding skills, coaching strengths and mentoring abilities. A branding focus paired with a clear understanding of today's marketing and advertising business is essential.
Reports to the Vice President of Brand Service (VP).
We are open to candidates living outside the greater Tampa Bay market. This is offered on a case-by-case basis subject to the candidate, job function and expectations, as well as the firm’s potentially evolving office policy procedure. Currently we maintain an office in Tampa for occasional meetings and collaboration, but the team works remotely in most instances. Travel to client communities is required from time to time. It is ideal to have our team close.
