Marketing Copywriter

Location: Hunt Valley, MD (Hybrid)

Experience: Mid-Level

Responsibilities include:

• You won’t work in a bubble. You’ll collaborate closely with our head of marketing, our sales and products teams, and our clients.
• Develop content to help us achieve our sales, marketing, and client retention goals
• Strategically plan content development that supports the sales process — driving inbound demo requests, supporting demand generation, and improving client marketing campaigns
• Perform a content assessment, then develop and manage an editorial calendar 
• Develop new content from assignments and proposing your own ideas
• Optimize content and make decisions based on conversion metrics and SEO analysis – helping to increase relevant website traffic, leads, and conversions
• Give and receive constructive feedback to ensure we meet our goals
• Learn and help to further develop our brand’s voice
  
  

Qualifications:

• Familiar with business concepts and communicates well with c-level executives
• Distills key information from research and subject matter expert interviews
• Writes concise, impactful copy that’s audience appropriate and right sized for the medium
• Has an opinion about the terms: active voice, inverted pyramid, and Oxford comma
• Understands the role content plays in contemporary digital marketing – SEO, demand generation, sales enablement, etc.
• Loves to learn, has a passion for problem solving, and fearlessly experiments

Examples of what you would work on:

• Emails, blog posts, release notes, website copy, press release, use cases and case studies, training tools, social posts, and other stuff
