Marketing Strategist

A growing B2B marketing agency focused on the industrial sector is looking for a talented Marketing Strategist to help realize client goals by surfacing insights, developing marketing strategies, and leading marketing plan development.

As one of the agency's primary strategists, you will work closely with account managers, creative team members, media strategists, and analytics staff to create marketing strategies that set the agenda for our engagements with our clients and drive meaningful results.

The Strategist must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment with hard deadlines while juggling multiple projects. The Strategist reports to the VP of Integrated Marketing Strategy.

What You Will Do:

• Learn, champion, and improve the agency's Strategy practice
• Lead the client discovery process and synthesize findings to deliver insights
• Conduct strategy sessions to produce an actionable strategy deliverable
• Develop customer personas, mind maps, and journey diagrams
• Frame up marketing action plans and refine team contributions so that they are on point strategically
• Collaborate with accounts, analytics, content, creative, media, and technology teams to turn strategy into action
• Consult with clients and provide ongoing insights into marketing strategies that can impact their business
• Other related duties and assignments as required
  

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a B2B marketing strategist, marketing manager, or similar role
• Creative thinker and data-driven
• Ability to articulate strategy, rationale, ideas
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Strong organizational skills
