Project Manager

Location: Lakeland, FL

Experience: 3+ years


The Project Manager (PM) partners with Account Services (Local and National) and all other agency departments to serve as the primary contact point for all project work that flows through the agency. The Project Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day flow of work through the agency, coordinating all project phases, resource management, and approvals from project initiation through in-market delivery. This role is the consistent pulse within the agency. The PM must be strategic, organized, detailed and a great communicator, who remains calm under pressure.


The Project Manager will have a strong understanding of agency working processes and an empathy with cross-functional team members both intaking projects and executing work leveraging the Function Point CRM platform. In addition, this Project Manager will proactively partner with the Account Service team on a regular basis to holistically understand client project priorities and help outline forecasted projects to aid in agency planning efforts.


Responsibilities:

  • Creating and managing project schedules that outline project milestones from initiation to in-market delivery that are based on scope, timing, budget and resources.
  • Provides leadership and comprehensive direction to cross-functional team members to ensure project success and that resources are being utilized.
  • Holistic project planning and management for medium complexity scopes of work.
  • Encourage collaboration between teams.
  • Proactively identify and solve problems as issues arise.
  • Identifying any deliverables that might fall behind schedule and delegate responsibilities among team members to ensure timeline completion.
  • Coordinating all workflow phases, schedule management, and approvals from project initiation through delivery in-market, you’ll ensure projects meet or exceed expectations and are delivered on-time.
  • Scheduling, facilitating, and recapping project related team meetings (e.g. - project kick-offs, internal reviews, production inputs, and lessons learned).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, advertising and marketing or related fields.
  • General to proficient understanding/experience and involvement in a wide variety of media (display and social, web, broadcast, CTV, radio, streaming, traditional/print, etc.).
  • Ability to motivate and guide the team as needed to encourage problem-solving, positive energy and generate high-quality work.
  • Demonstration of excellent communication skills with clients and internal teams, both written and verbal.
  • Display of strong organization skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and manage medium to complex marketing projects (campaigns, websites, social, video, broadcast, print)
  • Positive attitude, flexible, works well under pressure
  • Strong time management skills
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with team members of various personality types
  • Demonstrates initiative; is proactive
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to influence project team members to identify and address project issues, including leadership and interdependent teams, and to promote self-directed teams.
