A growing B2B marketing agency focused on the industrial sector is looking for a talented social content director to lead multi-platform strategies and content for a portfolio of brands. The ideal candidate is a positive team player and someone who is a passionate leader.
You should be accustomed to driving a brand’s social strategy but also participating in the creation of the work. This is not a role where the work can be fully delegated.
The Social Content Director should be equal parts analytical and creative. They should be an outstanding presenter and communicator, a skilled manager of clients and cross functional partners. You know how to think big but also like to dive into the minutia and metrics.
The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and has good critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. They also embrace the spirit of creativity, curiosity and testing, and love of keeping up with the latest platform trends.
What You Will Do:
- Lead omni channel content strategy for multiple brands
- Identify KPIs and develop roadmaps to achieve them
- Develop audience engagement and growth strategy
- Determine the most efficient mix of channels to deliver on key KPIs.
- Lead thinking on content creation and mix to create growth
- Stay on top of industry trends to identify areas of opportunity
- Own the development and implementation of a wide range of content types – video, still imagery, written and audio in partnership with agency creative and production teams.
- Develop content strategies that create connection, community and growth
- Effectively and powerfully pitch concepts
- Partner with the creative, production, strategy and paid media teams to ensure cross functional alignment and excellent execution of the work
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Minimum 7 years experience leading social media and content strategy and development, ideally with a mix of agency and client-side experience
- Deep knowledge of the relationship of paid / earned / owned media
- Skilled strategist when it comes to developing a brand voice with a mix of content that feels conversational and product focused
- Excellent communicator – you know how to skillfully express your ideas
- Outstanding project management skills and attention to detail.
- Experience managing a team, but willingness to roll up your sleeves
- Expert experience across digital and social media
- Influencer marketing experience is a plus
