Senior UI/UX Designer

Location: Hunt Valley, MD or Remote

Experience: 5+ years

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr UI/UX Designer to join our client's  growing software team. As a Senior UI/UX Designer you will assist in the design, development, and overall user experience for our company software products. You will work with an experienced team of software and consulting industry professionals as they grow their customer base worldwide.

• Design thinking – the ability to translate observations and insights about users and their challenges into well-crafted UX solutions

• Iterative UI/UX design – our team values our design team member’s ability to deliver hands-on digital design from wireframe through visual prototypes while collaborating with stakeholders to produce the best possible outcomes

Experience Preferred:

• Experience with user research and can draw on insights to better understand user challenges and shape UX solutions
• Capable of creating workflow diagrams, UX wireframes, and high-fidelity UI designs
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and associated design and IA tools like Figma, Miro, etc. 
• Familiar with the development lifecycle and agile/iterative design process
• Delivers and receives critical feedback on designs and process
• Exceptional responsive design skills
• Highly organized with a critical eye for detail
• Strong communication and experience presenting designs to clients and discussing feedback in a consultative manner
• Conducting user testing and soliciting user feedback to improve designs
• History of mentoring other designers 
• Contributing to and supporting design systems at scale
