Web Developer

Location: Morgantown, WV or Remote

Experience: 2+ Years

The Web Developer position requires someone who is dynamic and innovative in their approach to web development. We are looking for someone who can collaborate, conceptualize, build, and maintain websites for a variety of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on all aspects of a web development projects – including UX/UI designs to Front/Back End Developers and Quality Assurance
• Assist in proposal writing and researching opportunities
• Provide conceptual, technical direction through digital solutions
• Contribute to the front/back end development process on all digital projects
• Analyze and strategically leverage web metrics to determine trends, successes, site issues and SEO opportunities
• Debug and troubleshoot layout and scripting issues across a variety of browsers including IE, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 2+ years minimum experience with web design and development
• Bachelor’s Degree/ Associate’s Degree in Graphic Arts/Design or related field
• Proficiency in using Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, or FIGMA a plus
• WordPress development experience a must, including implementing ACF fields into custom layout builder interfaces for admin panels
• Experience with TWIG (PHP Template Engine)
• JSON, jQuery and JavaScript a must
• Database integration and development skills using a variety of protocols to create custom web apps
• Full knowledge of CSS and the best practices for creating responsive emails
• Experience with User Interface design for web applications
• Working knowledge of cross platform web development, support and testing for QA using Browser Stack or equivalent
• Knowledge of usability and accessibility standards, information architecture best practices, and site optimization techniques
• A strong work ethic and the ability to take ownership of your projects and meet deadlines, commitment to detail
• Must be well organized, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Ability to accept and respond to feedback
• Fast learner and willing to expand skillset
• Must be comfortable working in the Mac and PC environments
